I was born and have lived my entire life in Quetzaltenango. I am a Maya K'iche Quetzalteca. I am the oldest of 5 siblings. I have 2 children.

I earned my first degree as an accountant at the National School of Business . I then attended the University of San Carlos , Guatemala where I studied Sociology and earned a diploma as a teacher of Spanish as a second language.

I have been a Spanish teacher here at Celas Maya for 12 years. I continue to improve my skills as a teacher by participating in various culture and language workshops offered by Celas Maya.

My favorite hobbies are cooking, reading and watching futbol.
