Welcome! Since we founded Celas Maya at the beginning of 1999, thousands of students have been here from all parts of the world -- Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania, and Africa. This experience has been profoundly enriching for all of us at Celas Maya since we have had a real exchange of experiences, points of view, and information.

We feel certain that this cultural interchange is both a way to question the currents that drive the world and to contribute towards its development. Through questioning our future and discovering more about our past and present, and through the knowledge of other cultures, we learn to value and respect cultural diversity.
