Celas Maya offers transferable university credits. This program is established by the Rural University of Guatemala, and they cooperate with Celas Maya to provide this to our students.

The credits are offered by this University, and by the governmental department of Exterior Relations. So the credits are approved by Celas Maya, the Rural University, and Exterior Relations.

We offer credits for three levels. Each level has sublevels, a number of study hours to obtain the level, and the number of credits attached to that.

The student needs to:

- confirm with your own university whether they accept "transferable credits of the Rural University in Guatemala".

- study a minimum of 3 weeks, of 5 hours daily from Monday to Friday (25 hours per week). In those 3 weeks, it depends per student how many credits can be obtained, and in which level.

- provide us with detailed information about the course/study/university for which the credits are obtained

- make an exam, and pass this exam to obtain the credits

- pay $50 for each credit

- pay $35 administration costs (costs for the exam, paperwork, exam evaluation, administrative costs, process costs)
